Until you know parents with trans kids, I think you should sit out this conversation. It’s so so hard and this is something that should be between parents and their child’s doctors. It’s no one else’s business. I have several friends with trans kids and affirming healthcare definitely saved their lives.
I do know parents with trans kids, and their situation has been excruciating. I would never say anything TO them, personally, about their decisions. Are you telling me to shut up in the public square? I'm already not saying everything I think.
